In her lecture, the political scientist will discuss the influence of the media on social cohesion. After the lecture, there will be room for exchange with the project participants and the speaker.<\/p>\n<\/div>

About the lecturer<\/h2><\/div>
Prof. Dr. Ulrike Klinger<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>
Prof. Dr. Ulrike Klinger is Professor of Digital Democracy at the European New School for Digital Studies at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) since 2020. Furthermore, she is an associated researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in Berlin. After her studies and PhD at Goethe University in Frankfurt in 2010, she was a senior researcher at the University of Zurich until 2018. From February 2018 to 2020, she was an assistant professor of digital communication at the Institute of Journalism and Communication Studies at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin and head of the research group News, Campaigns and the Rationality of Public Discourse at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in Berlin. Her research focuses on political communication, the transformation of digital publics, and the role of technology in democratic societies.<\/div><\/div><\/div>
