Nach Abschluss meines Bachelorstudiums der Sozialwissenschaften (Medien, Politik, Soziologie) an der Heinrich-Heine-Universit\u00e4t in D\u00fcsseldorf, studiere ich nun \u201eSoziologie \u2013 Europ\u00e4ische Gesellschaften\u201c im Master an der Freien Universit\u00e4t Berlin.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Was ich an diesem Forschungsprojekt spannend finde\u2026<\/h4>\n<\/div>

Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt war m\u00f6glicherweise nie wichtiger als in der heutigen Zeit, in der sich demokratische Gesellschaften mit neuartigen und globalen Krisen konfrontiert sehen, die nur durch Konsens und gemeinsames Handeln bew\u00e4ltigt werden k\u00f6nnen. Gleichzeitig erleben wir aktuell \u2013 durch ebendiese Krisen ausgel\u00f6st \u2013 eine st\u00e4rkere gesellschaftliche Spaltung als in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten. Die Erforschung der Faktoren, die gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt beg\u00fcnstigen und erschweren, ist daher mit Blick auf die Zukunft entscheidend.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Was meine Disziplin zu diesem Forschungsprojekt beitragen kann\u2026<\/h4>\n<\/div>

Eine der zentralen Fragen der Soziologie lautet: Wie ist Gesellschaft m\u00f6glich? Um diese Frage zu beantworten, spannt sie den Bogen der Beobachtung von der kleinsten Ebene der zwischenmenschlichen Begegnung bis zur Makroebene der gro\u00dfen Institutionen. Auf diese Weise erfasst die Soziologie die Gesellschaft als komplexes Netz interdependenter Strukturen und Prozesse. Folglich er\u00f6ffnet die soziologische Perspektive die M\u00f6glichkeit, einzelne Dimensionen, in denen Zusammenhalt oder Spaltung erzeugt werden, im gesamtgesellschaftlichen Kontext zu betrachten.<\/p>\n<\/div>
